This book is intended to be published in the autumn of 2023, both in English and Dutch.
It will dive into the five-fold ministry in practice, from a viewpoint of ‘the saints’ since they should be the ones being trained by the five-fold ministry to do the work of service.
Several well-known speakers from the Netherlands will write this book together with me, sharing experiences and insights into this very important topic.
Why was the five-fold ministry set up like this?

What is the purpose of the five-fold ministry?
What different roles can we see in the five-fold, and in what do they differ from one another?
The last question I will be asking everyone is:
If the five-fold ministry was to be fully implemented and accepted in the church today, what would the church and society look like 25 years from now?
This book will be written in Dutch, translated into English before it is published, and then hopefully be published in both languages at the same time, around the autumn of 2023.
So far these people have said they would like to join me in writing about this: Martin Koornstra, Christian Tan, Hans Maat, Anne Ian Borkent, Klaas van Denderen and Daniël van Deutekom. I hope to get a few more people in on the project as well.
This project will bring with it quite some expenses.
The total amount will come to € 25.000,-
This will cover my labour (interviews with the co-writers, putting the interview into writing, writing and re-writing the text, etc.), redaction of the text in Dutch, the translation of the book into English, the first check of the translation, the graphics design both inside and cover, the actual cost of the publishing in the Netherlands. For the English market we’ll have to look into options further down the line.
